Today we had a Gymkana in the village. Everybody
had twenty questions to answer, and for some of them we needed to ask local
people in order to succeed. Afterwards, we baked cookies following an American
recipe.

8th of July. Girls.
We took a kayaking trip, “Go with the Flow River
Adventures”, on the River Barrow. Nobody sank and everybody had a lot of fun. We
sailed down waterfalls and we got exhausted by the rowing, but our effort
worthwhile.

7th July. Girls.
Today it was rainy too. In the morning the little ones
were writing postcards for their families and in the afternoon we did
gymnastics. They also cleaned up their bedrooms and vacuumed the floor.

6th of July. Girls
Yesterday it was very rainy so we stayed
indoors, except for the Holy Mass celebrated in the local medieval church as usual.
In the afternoon, everyone gave a presentation about their favourite saints.

5th of July. Girls.
After the Sunday Mass, we spent the day en
Kilkenny. We visited the restored old Castle on a tour guide and we went to the
cinema to watch “Minions”.

4th of July. Girls.
We cycled and picnicked by the River
Barrow. The way was long, but the green hills, white clouds, blue sky, bright
water, and golden sunshine were worth the pain.

3rd of July. Girls.
The English classes began in earnest. For
sports and recreation, we walked along the bank of the River Barrow.
