1st of July Girls

Today, we are going to describe an ordinary day in our English Course.

We get up at 08:00 a. m. We tidy up, make our beds, and go downstairs to offer our day to the Lord in morning prayers. After that, we have 30 minutes of prayer time.

Then, we have breakfast.

At 09:30, we have the first lesson of the morning. We are divided into two groups, elementary and intermediate level. In the lessons, we practise all the skills we need to achieve communicative competence: speaking, writing, listening, reading, grammar, and pronunciation.

Sports time starts at 11:00. We play football, go for a walk, or go to see the horses that are next to our house.
After an hour of rest, we come back for another lesson.

At 13:30 we present to our Mother of the Heaven a Holy Rosary.

Then, lunch time!

Each day, one of us has the duty of leading the prayers or cleaning the kitchen after meals. Most of us love cooking, so often there is plenty of help with preparing the food.

At 15:30, it´s reading time. We read the life or writing of a saint in order to learn his virtues and imitate them.

At 16:00, we have the last lesson of the day.

Every day we find new flashcards on the wall that we have to write down and learn.

We have a snack and then play board games or learn English songs.

19:00 is the most important hour of the day. We celebrate the Holy Mass, joining us to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. Some of us are altar servers and others sing with the guitar. We follow the responses of the English Mass using our booklets.

After showers, we have dinner, and at last, the evening activity.

Finally, we give thanks to the Lord for all the graces that we have received in the day, sing a song to Jesus to say goodnight to Him, and go to sleep.
